SmokingCats started in Houston, Texas, in 2008 with a pretty simple idea. Keep a good selection of smoking accessories, price them fairly, ship them carefully, and make it easy for customers to find what they actually need.
After all these years, that is still how we run the store. We carry glass bongs, hand pipes, oil burner pipes, attachments, grinders, lighters, storage accessories, and plenty of unusual designs that you probably will not find at every local shop. Some customers come to us looking for a simple replacement bowl. Others want a pink bong, a novelty pipe, a hard-to-find adapter, or a heavier piece of glass. We have learned that there is no single product that works for everyone.
We Have Been Doing This Since 2008
A lot has changed since we started SmokingCats. Products have changed, glass styles have changed, shipping costs have definitely changed, and customers now have far more choices online than they did years ago.
What has not changed is the amount of practical experience you pick up after handling these products every day. You learn which glass shapes are easier to pack, which parts customers commonly order in the wrong size, which designs are harder to clean, and which small details matter much more than they appear to in a product photo.
That kind of experience is difficult to put into a slogan, but it affects how we choose products and how we describe them.

SmokingCats is based in Houston, Texas. We ship orders discreetly from our Texas warehouses, with plain packaging that does not advertise what is inside.
Glass is not always easy to ship. A product can look solid in your hand and still have a delicate joint, stem, or bowl that needs extra protection. After years of packing glass, we have learned where the weak points usually are and how much the packaging matters.
If something does arrive damaged, we have a clear damage-claim process so the problem can be reviewed and handled quickly.

One reason we started selling online was simple. We saw plenty of accessories being sold with large retail markups, even when the products themselves were not especially unusual.
We still try to keep our prices practical today. That includes inexpensive everyday pieces, bulk packs, replacement parts, and higher-end branded glass. We do not expect every customer to want the most expensive product in the store.
Sometimes the $15 piece is exactly what someone needs. Sometimes spending more makes sense because the glass is heavier, the design is more complicated, or the brand matters. Our job is to give customers enough information to make that choice.
We Pay Attention to the Small Stuff
After selling glass for this long, we have learned that small details cause a lot of the biggest headaches.
A 14mm attachment does not help if the customer actually owns an 18mm joint. A beautiful bubbler becomes frustrating if the replacement stem is impossible to find. A very thick bong can still have a vulnerable joint. A novelty pipe might look great in a photo but be awkward to store.
These are the kinds of things we try to point out in product descriptions and buying guides. We would rather explain what actually matters than fill a page with words like premium and ultimate.

A lot of what we know comes from customers. Over the years we have answered questions about broken glass, replacement parts, joint sizes, shipping, cleaning, product dimensions, colors, and pieces that looked different in person than someone expected.
